I'm a child borne of the opposite worlds of pragmatism and idealism. Since a tender age, I've learnt that optimism is not personality trait, but rather a discipline. I see myself as a bridge mediating between people and ideas, across cultures and beliefs. If maturity means being a cynic, if I have to extinguish the flames within myself that is naïve and romantic - the fire that gives my eyes the spark others notice - to claim maturity, is it not better to die young but with my humanity intact? Come join me in this exploration to grow younger each day.
